Who is a Barbarian?

Rajapakse lost his re-election bid in SriLanka, which must be an eye opener to us all, who prostrate before our favourite and not so favourite deities, discreetly and openly after perpetrating what can easily be called as mass man slaughters, genocides, multiple Rapes, scams, friendly back stabbing and betrayals, murder etc.. etc...

So, how did he win the first and second term, as President? Was he a good soul then?

I leave it to your imagination though I fickle mind would call it readily as fate and destiny. Well, Rajapakse had been going around everywhere in India, for the past two years, visiting Temples, consulting astrologers 24 hours a day for his day to life chores. Well, was the fate and future predicted by astrology was so strong that the man himself could not correct and twist his fate with his bribery and so called Parigaarams to Gods , albeit supplemented by multiple visits to different Hindu and Buddhist temples with an eventual no solace with Paava mootai mannippu?

I have begun to doubt fate and destiny, especially after what’s been happening to Mu Karunanithi, Thatha aka Kalaignar. Him, who lost his CM post twice in the past for being a so called supporter of LTTE and Indian autonomy, fate would have it, lost it once again for ever in 2011, when he failed to muster the bravery and courage needed to save those poor Tamilians, civilians, used as a human shield by LTTE, yet bombarded and massacred by the merciless Srilankan army. Mu Ka was the then CM of T Nadu, whose party MP’s support was continually needed for a stable federal Indian governance during the good parts of last decade!

Was it fate or not that twisted his arm 360 degrees and in the process, he staged the shortest fast un- to death drama ever in the history  of Tamils, with a result; an underlying agenda to save his daughter and a subtle agenda to save those hapless Srilankan Tamils?

Well people threw him off power and fate could not stop the fate from throwing his daughter to the Tihar jail before she was bailed out nearly after a year! Is it not fate that has glued his mouth for good now that he could not forcibly criticise Amma’s dethroning recently in the inappropriate wealth case and is it not destiny that got back him as President of DMK for the 11th or the 12 consecutive time? Is it not destiny that also prevents Stalin, his son from ever getting into the DMK’s presidency, almost similar to the now twice grand pa, Prince Charles, whose ascendancy still hangs in balance upon Queens’s fate in Britain?

Sadly we can’t discuss all these issues in WhatsApp, as we might be monitored, identified and targeted…..

Well we know what these politicians are up to; are they not scavengers of modern world left overs and destiny makers of hapless souls and down trodden? Amma, we may remember has gone into her home for good, calling herself People’s CM, after her bail, few months ago; If she comes out clean, it would be destiny and if not that would be her fate, is it?

Whilst “I am Charlie” make me wonder what Paris and its liberal attitude stand for, the word “barbarians” invoke many emotions, which make me cringe, feel helpless and agonised.
Not sure where were we, the elite, educated mass of India, when the Mullaiteevu genocide was carried out with the connivance of Sonyaji and Rajapakse, wiping out 100,000 people at least, with the Chinese made dodgy weapons!

Was it not barbaric? If this was not, what else?

Barbarians — a word that today often refers to uncivilized people or evil people and their evil deeds — originated in ancient Greece, and it initially merely referred to people who did not speak Greek!!

Well, considering;  what’s happened to those Dalits whose body parts were dismembered and their parts strewn across a village in Maharashtra recently ;; what’s happened to our Dharmapuri couple after their secret wedlock; what’s happening to the Indian Dalit women three of whom are raped every day; what’s happening to our caste-less people, 13 of whom are murdered every week and are forced to eat human SHIT and whose women made to run naked  in modern day India as a punishment at those Village Panchayats ;  who are still abused and still given a separate Lotta to drink a cup of tea in our villages and its Chaya shop ;  Villages , whose identity and local map stops still short of  its “ Cheris (equivalent to city slum dwelling)” ;  considering the fact that the other day in Erode, a young boy’s wrist was slit, as he continued to wear a wrist watch in defiance of his caste Hindu school mates; and considering the fact that most of the prisoners trialed and yet to be trialed or held as a prisoner in any Indian prison would be Caste-less Dalit, ( Gujarat being the leader )……………….

The current definition of a Barbarian goes like this: A barbarian is a person who is perceived to be uncivilized. The word is often used either in a general reference to member of a nation or ethnic, typically a tribal society as seen by an urban civilization either viewed as inferior, or admired as a noble savage.

Well, is that not a destiny or a fate that whilst most of us, would identify as a caste Hindu in Modern day India, a good number, 166,635,700 , so called Hindus, will be called caste-less and a Dalit? And did you know that the word "Dalit" is Sanskrit, and it means "ground", "suppressed", "crushed", or "broken to pieces"?

Now, let us decide, who is a Barbarian here?
